Spondon Bowls Club is located adjacent to the Asterdale Club, Borrowash Road, Spondon, Derby, and has a membership of 139(2008),both male and female.We operate 22 Teams in the South Derbyshire Crown Green Bowling Association, the South Derbyshire Ladies Crown Green Bowling Association and the Belper & District Crown Green Bowling Association.
Not all our members wish to participate in competitive league bowling so, because we have two greens,the facilities are there for social bowling also.
New members are always welcome, whether they be experienced or novices, young or not so young. There is always a member available to give tuition and encouragement.
The pavilion has a well equipped kitchen and bar area, so, whether you require tea, coffee, soft drink, or a cooling beer or lager, refreshments are always available.
