Derby Millennium Network
The Derby Millennium Network (DMN) is a Black-led initiative, that aims to bring together and support Black & Culturally Diverse (BCD) Community groups in Derby.

In doing so the DMN aims to set up an effective infrastructure that will help to create a much stronger and sustainable sector that meets the needs of the various Black & Culturally Diverse communities.
What we aim to do
Derby Millennium Network
The Derby Millennium Network aims are:

* To establish a broad based membership of Black voluntary organisations and create a package of benefit for members.

* To identify and promote a Black voluntary sector agenda, ensuring that policy-makers, capacity building agencies, local government and other relevant bodies are made aware and act on the concerns of the sector.

* To develop networks which will enable the exchange of skills, information and shared approaches to tackling the issues facing Black and Culturally Diverse communities.

* To support and develop good management practice amongst the staff and Committee members of Black voluntary organisations.

* To improve access to resources by Black voluntary organisations from within the Black community via Government agencies, Charitable trusts, the private sector and other relevant bodies.
