What we aim to do
The Derby Millennium Network aims are:
* To establish a broad based membership of Black voluntary organisations and create a package of benefit for members.
* To identify and promote a Black voluntary sector agenda, ensuring that policy-makers, capacity building agencies, local government and other relevant bodies are made aware and act on the concerns of the sector.
* To develop networks which will enable the exchange of skills, information and shared approaches to tackling the issues facing Black and Culturally Diverse communities.
* To support and develop good management practice amongst the staff and Committee members of Black voluntary organisations.
* To improve access to resources by Black voluntary organisations from within the Black community via Government agencies, Charitable trusts, the private sector and other relevant bodies.
