Hi there, and welcome. My name is Trevor, I live in Derby in the UK, and am a former Jehovah's Witness, joining the Watchtower in 1991 and leaving in 1999. When I became a JW, I really thought I had found the truth, but after researching their main doctrines, I felt that they could not be sustained by the Scriptures, so I left. I am now a born again Christian, attending an Assemblies of God church in Derby, and my story is on another page of the site.
This site is primarily designed to help former JWs or those considering leaving, although those who have been caught up in other cults may find the information here useful. If you are a JW and happy with your faith, you may wish to leave now. If you read on, don't expect to read views that are favourable towards the Watchtower expressed on the site.

The purpose of this site
|

The main purpose of this site is to provide information about the Watchtower and its beliefs, either through the links on the Contacts page or on the other pages, for those who have left the Watchtower or are considering doing so.
Also, I seek to reassure those who have left or are considering such a step that they are not leaving God, which is how the Watchtower, along with most other cults, tends to view those who abandon them.
