Our next meeting will be on 8th April at 7:30pm at the Friends Meeting House, St. Helen's Street, Derby.
HELP NEEDED!
Volunteers are needed to join a march through Derby on Saturday 17th May. We wish to raise awareness that in light of the Olympics, the China Authorities are not keeping to their promises to improve human rights if they were to win the bid.
Amnesty are supportive of the Olympics but we don't want to ignore the human rights abuses that take place every day in China.
If you can spare 90 minutes on Saturday 17th May (between 11:30am to 1:00pm) then please contact us vai the Contact Us/Feedback page on this website.
Thanks.

How you can help.

 |
Amnesty International works for the release of prisoners of conscience, fair trials for political prisoners and an end to torture, extrajudicial executions, "disappearances" and the death penalty. To these ends local activists lobby, write letters, raise funds and raise awareness in the community.
